Some are parents. Some are vocational teachers. All of them love Jesus and love children.

100% yes. It's our policy that anyone who work with children pass a background check. Safety is first when it comes to children.

Our security team watches the lobby and front doors for intruders. Our kids' team closes the entry and doesn't allow kids to have in-and-out privileges once they're checked in. Kids may not go to the bathroom alone, they must walk there with a same-gendered leader, and then go to the bathroom by themselves. Kids may only leave once they are checked out by the adult who checked them in.

We have an electronic check-in station. First-time registration will require parents to input their kids' information. After that, weekly check-in is a breeze. Simply type your kid's name, select them, and they're checked in. Stick the name tag on your kid and keep your claim tag. You'll need that to pick up your kid after church service.

We would typically call or text you. We sometimes bring the child to the parent in service, if the parent prefers.

Most kids are eager to play with the new toys and furnishings in the kids' area. You're welcome to remain in the kids' area to keep them calm and comfortable until they're ready to see you leave. If your kids cry when you leave, we can either (a) bring them to you in big church, (b) call you back to come calm them, or (c) help them deal with the separation anxiety until the end of service. All options are on the table.  Some parents hang out in the lobby, keeping an ear out for their kids in the children's program, just to see if they're transitioning well. That's okay too.  Some parents bring their infants and toddlers into the auditorium for the church service, even just part of it. We don't mind the kid noises. We'd rather they be there (with noise) than not be there at all.  In the end, it really depends on what you need and how we can help best.
